How to Perfect Smooth, Not Stubbly Skin

Linda M. McCloud

What is one attribute many women crave? Did you consider long, luscious legs like you see in the movies? When the starlet walks into the room and the camera roves down to her legs. They look shiny and smooth. When you imagine the hero stroking them, you can almost feel how soft and smooth they are yourself. Then you look at your own legs. Are they smooth looking? Are they soft to the touch? How can you perfect this look and touch yourself?

Begin by Growing Less Hair

Yes, you can actually grow less hair on your legs. How? Have you heard about those creams and deodorants that promise that they can reduce hair growth? Guess what? Most of them work. Most of them contain plant derived ingredients that actually do slow down hair growth. Plus, when it begins to grow back it in will become finer and it will be lighter in color. You also asked your doctor to prescribe a prescription medication known as Vaniqua that can slow down hair growth. Yet, you should only go this route if you have a lot of hair because it is expensive. Generally, this will cost a consumer about $100 for a one ounce tube.

Read The Labels In Your Shaving Cream

Yes, you should use shaving cream. This will help make your legs smoother and help make it easier for you to shave. However, do pay attention to the ingredients. You shouldn't buy shaving creams that list these ingredients as the first three ingredients: alcohol or fragrance, if you have any type of skin condition or if your skin is prone to drying out easily.

Also remember to never use shower gels as shaving creams. These contain too much fragrance and can easily cause irritation to your skin.

Use Lotion

After you shave your legs, never forget to apply a good quality lotion to your legs afterward. This will help calm your skin and make it softer.

Shave Correctly

When shaving your underarms, remember the best approach is going side to side. Then you should go in an up and down approach. This is the best way to make sure you nab all those wayward hairs.

Yes, if you follow these tips you may soon have better looking legs. You might even have legs that match those starlets you see in the movies.
