How to Perk Up with or Without Coffee

Robb Weigel
Let's face it--somedays we have a lot of energy and some days we don't. Somedays we just don't wake up on the right side of the bed.

Step 1) On those days that are hard, drink a cup of COFFEE. I know many of you think coffee is bad for you (and it might be) but it will be help a)wake you up and b) give you a euphoric feeling. Step 2) Do some feel exercise. Take a brisk jog/walk/run for at least 30 minutes and do some pushup, situps, pullups, dips, etc. There's nothing like good physical exercise that will get the blood pumping, releasing seratonin which make you feel better. 3

Step 3) Dress really nice--Dress more formal than usual. Ever heard the expression "the suit makes the man" Take this expression to heart if you're a man--or woman--when you feel poorly.

Step 4) Be positive--be annoyingly positive. Your optimism has a way of seeping into your subconscious and molding you into what you want to be. Here's the breakdown--It's easy to stay disciplined on days when you're peppy (when you're bright eyed and bushy tailed); it's hard to stay disciplined and goal-oriented on days when you're not. You have to dig deeper to find your true character on those days.
