How to Make a Personalized Everyday Remember Wedding Picture

Pam Parent
The everyday remember picture should hang in every couple's home. It is a framed heart with words that will remind a couple of the special feelings they had on their wedding day. When times get tough, read the everyday remember wedding picture, and try to focus on the true meaning of why the two of you were brought together. This makes a great shower or wedding gift.

Everyday Remember Wedding Picture

Supplies:

Large shadow box frame
Small gold stick-on letters and numbers
Small paint brush
Ivory acrylic paint
Clear varnish
Silk rosebuds
Glue gun and glue sticks
Large thin wood heart
Large ivory crocheted heart doily
Scissors
Black sharpie

Directions:

1. Find the center of the picture frame, then put the name of the bride and groom centered at the top of the frame using the gold stick-on letters. Put the couple's wedding date centered at the bottom of the picture frame. Make sure the letters and number are secure to the frame. Brush a coat of varnish over the entire rim of the frame. This will help to secure the letters and numbers, while giving the frame a nice finish. Another option is to stencil the bride and groom's names and wedding date on the picture frame.

2. Pour a small amount of the ivory acrylic paint into an old bowl or dish. Cover work area with a plastic bag. Paint one side of the heart. Let dry. Paint the other side of the heart. Let dry. Repeat.

3. You can choose to write whatever words are special to you on the heart plaque with the Sharpie pen. I usually write the following: Everyday remember the love, respect, hopes and dreams we had on our wedding day. As the years past, or if we face hard times, let us remember what brought us together on that special day.

4. Remove the back of the shadow box picture frame. With the right side of the back of the frame facing you, glue the crocheted doily in the center.

5. Glue the thin wood heart to the center of the crocheted heart.

6. Glue the rosebuds to the top, center of the heart. Another option is to dry some flowers from the bridal bouquet, then glue those florals to the top, center of the heart.

7. Put the shadow picture frame back together. Hang in a special place in your home.
