How to Make a Personalized Locket Bracelet for the Mother of the Bride or Groom

Supplies:

Small picture of the bride and groom
Locket
Round 6 mm beads -25-30 (depends on bracelet size)
Scissors
Magnetic clasp
8 1/2 piece of beading wire
Jewelry glue
Craft knife

Directions:

1. Make locket-size pictures for the bracelet. If you don't have access to special photo programs on your computer, you can take the photos to a local store that has photo services. They will be able to downsize the photos for you.

2. Place the photos in the locket. Use a craft knife to carefully trim edges so that the pictures fit snug in the locket.

3. Tie one end of the beading wire to one end of the magnetic clasp. Tie again for added security. Trim excess wire. String on half of the beads. If you are using birthstone beads, string on the birthstone bead next.

4. Slide the locket onto the wire. If you are using birthstone beads, string on the birthstone bead, then string on the remaining beads.

5. Tie the end wire to the other side of the magnetic clasp. Tie again, then trim ends.

6. Place a small dab of jewelry glue on each knot for added security.
