Just about anyone can have a photographic memory, you just have to know how to train your mind to recall information in the same manner that people born with photographic memory can. It does take patience and a good amount of practice. The best way to go about it is to looking into courses, which can show you how to train your memory. There are a number of different types of training methods that are available, books, video, audio, and there are seminars and other forms of personal instruction that can be of assistance. You have probably heard people talk about how the brain stores everything you see and hear. It records just like a computer. The trick to being able to access and recall all that information is being able to train your memory.
Training your mind to place information properly is the best way to attain the fast and effective recall that comes with photographic memory. Most people without these skills have to sit and sort through all the information for that one piece they are looking for.
Method 1 - Association
Association is one of the first things that you will learn when it comes to obtaining a photographic memory. This comes in useful for things like first encounters. You never have to worry about remembering a persons name because you will know how to associate their name with something that will allow you to remember who they are.
An example of this would be associating the name of a tall person named Ben with Big Ben. This is the premise behind association. Using something that will remind you of a particular word or in this case name. It may be unrelated or even nonsensical. The important thing is to make sure it is something that will allow you to recall the original information.
Method 2 - Image Association
Image association is another way to help remember people, places, and numbers. Basically, it is the use of images to invoke recall. So using the same example of a tall man named Ben. Instead of thinking of the words Big Ben for association, you would picture the Big Ben tower. This is one of the ways to enjoy the benefits of a photographic memory without having to be born with it. It makes remembering things easier.
These are just two examples of how you can train your own memory to take on the benefits of a photographic memory. There are a number of places that you can pick up more information on how you can train your memory. There are books, video and audio series to assist you and it is important to remember that practice is essential to being able to train your memory.

(I do not have a photopgraphic memory and just a begginer skimming through this post only once makes me wonder if maybe I already do have a photopgraphic memory with my current skills I use anyway, just didn't think of it this way)
My thoughts:
Its about associating things to what your "looking at"(like a photograph). It can be anything in that "photograph", or it can be the photograph as a whole. The objects in this photograph you can attach rememberable associations like experiances you have had or training your mind with a default experiance, maybe physically create an experiance to use as a template for each scenario. Create a group association for all the associations from the photograph like the template your mind has been trained to use. when the photograph is recalled in your mind, you just remember the association and the image you remember from the association/s comes out more defined and detailed.
this better work, im homeschooled, starting 10th grade this eyar. then imma going to regular high school, and i dont want to have to spend forver studying, so imma try to rain all year hope it workss!
OH And brains were around longer then computers soo ummmm dnt be saying our brains are like them cause they are like are brains duhh! and it does take a very long time to get photographic memory and patients dnt forget when u want to remember something take a piece and close ur eyes and store it u will have to repeat this about 4 time and keep doing it if it isnt stored
this stuff isnt tht helpful and besides we are not computers it holds memory use BUT we cant plug in a Jump Drive and stuff
you guys ere nerds!!!!
I will agree with the first person, but I think it is hard to use the photographic memory all the times as a baby. One can train to have a photographic memory but the two tricks in the article will barely help.
