First you will need the following:
glue cost $1 bottle
small thin rope $ 1-2
construction paper cost 2 for $1
a big balloon *****cost $1- 2 for a bag
2 paper party plates (theme) cost $2 for a 8ct pack
tissue paper or solid color napkins******Cost $1-4 a pack
newspaper ****Free usually outside stores in paper racks(Recycle your old one)
scissors/box cutter cost $1 if you already have some then you don't need to buy any.
Step 1. First you will need to blow you big balloon. After you have blown it up, you will need to tie the bottom of the balloon so the air will stay in. Click HERE it should look like the ones on this website.
Step 2. You will need to pull out you newspaper. Cut the newspaper in strips. Put some glue on the newspaper strips and press it against the balloon. Keep placing the newspaper strips with glue around the balloon until you have covered the entire balloon accept leave a small section maybe 2.5'' by 2.5'' or so. This is the hole you will put the candy into the pinata. After you have covered the entire balloon. Take more newspaper strips and place a few layers moreover the balloon. Maybe about three to four layers. Once you have finished that. Just hang the balloon somewhere until it dries completely. The news paper will get really stiff after it dries. When it has gotten all stiff then you're ready for the next step. If you don't have glue, then you can just mix some with flour and water. Now, just use the paste the same as glue.
Step 3. Here is where you will need the rope. Wrap a thin robe around the balloon. Don't forget to tie a loop on the top part of the balloon. This is used for hanging the pinata from.
Step 4. Next, you will need your construction paper for this step. You will need to make four funnel/paper cones. They are very easy to make. After you have made all four cones. You are now ready to place them onto you balloon. Place the four paper cones side by side. Just don't cover the hole where your candy will go in. You can glue or tape them on.
Step 5. Now you need to get your tissue paper or solid color napkins ready for this step. It can be the color of your choice. Okay, now grab your glue bottle and start gluing the tissue paper around the whole pinata including the cones. Double layer it if you want so you can't see through it.
Step 6. You will need two paper party plates of your choice. Now glue them to each side of the balloon on top of the tissue paper.
Now that you are finished. Put your candy into the pinata and hang it up. Now you are ready to party!
