It's a special magical moment filled with love and romance. One the question is asked life will never be the same for either of you.

A hot air balloon ride can be a beautiful place to ask the question. Hot air balloon rides most often take place in the morning just after sunrise or in the evening as the sun sets. The fragrant air and beautiful setting provide a charming romantic backdrop.

The beach is a frequent best place to propose to your girlfriend. A sandy beach can be magical during sunset. As the colors from the sailors' sky dance on the water you can ask the most important question of your life. For many, it's the perfect romantic setting.

Think about the place where you first knew that you were in love or where you went on your first date. My husband proposed to me at the McDonald's where we first met. It's not traditional in the nostalgic sense but it was perfect for us.

The best thing to do is to follow your heart. It led you to the girl of your dreams and it will lead you on how to pick the best place to propose to your girlfriend.
