One of the most cherished and personal things for a guy is the scent of his cologne. Guys love to wear cologne, and it is crucial in their mental state in getting the attention of women and smelling good. The right scent can pull in a woman right away. Scent: The first thing you will want to do is go to a department store or a store that specializes in cologne. Macy's has a great cologne department and they have over a dozen different name brand colognes to try. Before you buy any cologne, make sure you smell it first. Most cologne places have some sort of paper in which the cologne has been sprayed in which customers can then smell the scent.

When picking out the right scent, you need to choose the scent that is best for you. Forget about the commercials or what your friends said they all liked or what scent they used to get laid last night. You need to choose something that you smell and love. You want to really like the cologne that you put on your body because the scent sometimes dictates the kind of woman who will be attracted to you.

Colognes come in all different styles. Some are subtle and some are pretty powerful with only a small amount sprayed. It is up to you to decide which style you want to use for your cologne.

Price: Price is always something to consider. If you buy brand name cologne, then it will be more expensive. For some people, price is more important than to other people, depending on your own financial predicament. Remember, brand name cologne might smell just as good as non-brand name cologne. You will need to smell as many different types of cologne as possible to know this.
