First, it is best to always see the tv in work before you purchase it. So often people buy on a whim and hope that the great deal they see is in fact real. However, more often then not you are buying a television that has something wrong with it. That is why it is best to make sure it works before hand.
If you can't see the machine in action, the next best thing is to get some sort of warranty in writing. Make sure you can return it if for whatever reason it craps out on you. It would be throwing money away if this wasn't considered or an option.
When buying online be very mindful of shipping costs. This is how most people will get you on place like Ebay. They will jack the shipping price so high that it makes it a poor buying option, unfortunately, many don't look at this as a consideration. Also look at the rating of seller if it is available. A long established track record will help insure that the seller is legit and not a scam artist. Now a lack of a record doesn't necessarily mean that that person is a scam artist but you should be mindful that some folks are.
That's been my guide to helping you find cheap used televisions for sale both online and off. Hopefully, you found this article useful and can be on your way to getting a great television for a great value.
