After 2 weeks of buzzer beaters, upsets, debating and speculations, the NCAA Basketball Tournament is now set. 65 teams will battle it out for the chance to be crowned champion. Meanwhile, people from office pool to online sites will compete to decide whose Final Four is right. Before you sign up for any of the many March Madness Contests, you need to know a few rules.
- Do your homework: Many college basketball experts will tell who they think will win. You want to take anything they say with a grain of salt. The same applies to those in your office pool or March Madness pool, online or offline. If you watched enough college basketball, you'll know who's hot and who's slumping.
- Have A Mock Bracket: There are plenty of places with brackets in the tournament. By having a Mock bracket, you can examine which teams have either the easiest or toughest road to the National Championship. It's a great tool to check the progress of the tournament and other contest you entered in.
- Monitor Your Entries: If you entered in one of those NCAA Tournament Contests, check your entries to see where you are with other players. If you entered more than one contest, compare each to see where you are in each tournament. It also show you what moves you made correctly to the moments you missed the ball.
- Examine the Office Pool: If you're company has an office pool for the NCAA Basketball Tournament, you may need to investigate it. It's best to ask around to see what type of office pool it is. In addition, find out what are the entry requirements and winning percentage.
- Breakdown The Regions: Each region of the tournament has it share upsets in the making. When you do get a chance to examine your bracket this week, it's good to re examine which region will have the potential must see match ups.
