How to Plan a Celebrity Wedding

What If Miley Cyrus Walked the Aisle?

According to People.com, things are looking serious between Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Justin Gaston. He recently joined her family on a trip to a Nashville, Tennessee roller skating rink. Taking part in activities with the family is a good sign of a relationship getting pretty serious.

Just old enough to get her license, Miley probably isn't thinking about marriage at this point. But if we fast-forward a few years, maybe seven or eight, and if the couple is still hanging tight by then, here is the type of wedding I would plan for Miley and Justin.

I would guess by her current fashion choices that Miley would love a hip-style wedding. Satin is a classic fabric for a Hollywood-style wedding, but Miley would probably seek a dress that offered some appliqués and embellishments to give off a sparkle. As far as the style of dress, Miley often opts for fitted dresses, so her wedding dress should be no exception. Her designer dress, with a fishtail hem, would be one of a kind, tailored especially for the young celebrity. To compliment Miley's style of dress, Justin should dress in black tie or white tie attire. His clothing choices should be sharp and pressed, but with a little flare.

For a celebrity wedding, the best flowers to look for are classic flowers, such as roses, peonies, and lilies, according to Nina Callaway of About.com. Calla lilies would be a classic and elegant choice for Miley's bridesmaids' bouquets.

For a romantic tone, I would recommend a string quartet for the outdoor, Nashville ceremony. Miley's bouquet would be white roses gathered from selected guests as she walked down the aisle. Other guests would be given cones filled with flower petals to sprinkle on the grass aisle. Justin and Miley would then exchange vows under a hydrangea-and-rose-covered gazebo.

The evening reception would be held under a large, white tent lined with pastel chiffon, and pastel lanterns hanging from the ceiling. When entering the tent, guests would be directed to craft well-wishes to the couple on multi-colored pastel cards which would then be hung from a "well-wishes tree" made from willow branches and orchids. To complete this special day, Miley's dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, would sing an original song to his little girl before the father and daughter danced.

Who knows, maybe in seven or eight years, we'll get to see these wedding plans carried out. But whether Miley marries Justin or not, she could take these ideas and create a wedding to remember.
