Planning is the key to your successful, memorable, enjoyable wedding day. Eight Weeks Before Wedding Date
Decide on the big "wedding" date and pick your color scheme now, go ahead and plan a budget for your wedding. Start compiling your wedding guest list for a head count. The head count will be required for one selection a location for the reception and to help you negotiate a prices. Choose a location for your wedding ceremony place and make arrangements to visit the minister. Look into places you would want to hold your wedding reception. You have shop around for a place that is right for you and fits your budget. Contact the place and schedule and appointment to view it and if possible make the reservation for your potential wedding date. Optional to choose a bridal party, the smaller the better and decide who is going to fund their apparel for the wedding. These first step is the most important and hardest part of the wedding once you have everything finalized you can then proceed to work on the small wedding details.
Five Weeks Before Wedding Date
Enroll in a bridal-gift registry if you wish or ask for a Monetary Donation at this point. I would suggest for your wedding to as for the monetary donation. Don't expect too much, but the money that you make during the wedding can help to cover some of the cost in hosting the event. Choose a caterer or you can use the caterer from where you have made the reservation, remember the aim is to work with the lowest price for your wedding. The next thing is to look around for a photographer and a DJ. Shop for your decoration as well.
If you want to use real flowers you can but artificial flowers its cheaper. Remember a cheap wedding is our aim. Now if you chose a bridal party this is the time to shop for their dresses and look at styles for your gown. Coordinating the professional look for your wedding, i suggest you choose the colors that you prefer and have backups as your time is limited. Remember your wedding is just one month away.
Four Weeks Before Wedding Date
By this time you should have your wedding guest list completed. This is the week you do most of your ordering the wedding :- the cake, your beautiful wedding dress, headpiece, gloves, jewelery, shoes and other accessories, don't forget the groom and groomsmen order your wedding invitations, thank you cards, programs and the bookmarks you also book your transportation and make honeymoon reservations.
Three Weeks Before Wedding Date
If you have choose to go the gift way now is the time to go at the bridal-gift registry to choose your gifts for the gift list. Select reading for the ceremony and music for the reception also meet with the minister to discuss order of ceremony to see if (hisher approval). Meet with the caterer to discuss the menu. Prepare the necessary documents so that you can obtain the marriage license if required. Go shopping for the wedding bands. Make sure to have them sized and store them away till your wedding day.
Two Weeks Before Wedding Date
Here is where you take it easy at this time most of the hard work is over just mail out your invitation for the wedding make sure you put in a date to respond by. You will probably need to follow up with the person you invite as time is very limited. Finalize the details for printing your wedding programs and hymn sheets. Assemble your wedding favors and contact guest who have not yet respond to fine out if they'll be attending also write or print seating arrangement for Ushers.
One Week Before Wedding Date
Confirm with the Photographer. Give your Final Head Count to your Caterer. Pack and Confirm your honeymoon arrangements if you made any.
Two Days Before Wedding Date
Get a Manicure, Pedicure, Facial and a Message.
The Day Before Wedding Date
All the stress is over all you have to do is get your hair done and take it easy. Get a Goodnight Sleep.
Your Wedding Day
Eat a good Breakfast Relax and give adequate time to yourself to get ready.
Two Weeks After The Wedding
Mail out your Thank You Cards.
Rest of Your Life.
Enjoy and have a blast, knowing that you did not put yourself into debt and are with the person you plan to spend the rest of your life with, build, start a family and share many many more memories, just like you cheap wedding, that you planned in eight weeks.
