#1: Call your closest buddies
Considering that your party is last minute, you may want to just invite over your close friends. Sometimes planning last minute activities is a bit annoying to others and more than likely, they already have their Super Bowl plans by now. Call your close friends who you know are not doing anything for the big day. Even if you get about three or four people to come to the party, it is better than nothing!
#2: Make sure your entertainment system is watchable
No one wants to look at the Super Bowl on a 12 inch screen! Make sure your entertainment system is big enough to where everyone can actually see the players on the field. If your system is lacking, call one of your close buddies and ask them to bring theirs to the party. If you have a good chunk of money to spend, head over to your local Best Buy or Walmart and purchase one. Do whatever is necessary to have an enjoyable Super Bowl experience.
#3: FOOD...and Games!!!
What is a Super Bowl party with no chips and dip? This only requires a very quick trip to the store. While you are there, pick up a few sodas and maybe even get a big entrée with cheese, ham, or turkey. If refreshments do not seem like enough for you, head out to your local BBQ grill and order a carry-out full of chicken, ribs, mac & cheese, and whatever else you and your guests desire! Also, break out that Twister game you have locked up in your closet. During the halftime show, if no one wants to watch the performances just play a game. This will make your party even more amazing!
#4: Start the party on time
Personally, I hate going somewhere and the scheduled activity does not start on time. This is rather "tacky" and seems unorganized and sloppy. Tell your guests exactly when they should be there and be prepared when they get there! Do not have the area where the Super Bowl party will take place sloppy and nasty. This will make your guests extremely uncomfortable. They would probably be more worried about seeing a rat than seeing the next play in the game!
Your last minute Super Bowl party is now complete! Even though it may only be a small amount of people, the party may very well turn out to be the one that is the most memorable. Have fun! Remember not to plan your next Super Bowl party immediately after this one...you just may forget those plans!
