How to Plan the Perfect Father's Day

Zach Golt
Holidays are meant to be special, and everything runs smoothly when you have a plan. This month I've marked my calendar for Father's day and the beginning of summer! Well, I think we should all try and celebrate Father's Day to the fullest! Make Father's Day an awesome day for your dad. Summer will be here for three whole months and Father's Day only comes around once a year, so make June 21st special!

I've come up with an itinerary for Father's Day that anyone could follow. Father's Day lands on a Sunday, so you will have all day to make him feel like a king.

Workin' At the Carwash!

1. In order to start off the morning right, make sure that you get your father's car washed before he wakes up. I don't mean pick up a wrapper and call it quits. Take your time to vacuum, wash, wax, and get a little car tree to get his car smelling oh-so-good! Remember to this before he wakes up in the morning. Having a clean car and full tank of gas makes me feel good so I could only imagine how thankful your dad would be when he sees his car spic-and-span.

Father's Day Breakfast Fit for a King

1. Next, the night before Father's Day go to the grocery store and get breakfast supplies. Breakfast supplies mean: eggs, milk, bacon, sausage, bread, butter. If your dad has a favorite breakfast food make sure that's what you include on your breakfast supply list on Saturday! This is the perfect breakfast in bed.

Nature Versus Nurture

1. Now you have to think of a place that your dad likes to go to that's calm. My dad always likes going to the beach, park, or lake. Parks are a great place to relax. If you want, after breakfast you guys can pack up the grill and make it a picnic lunch. Buy some hot dogs, hamburgers, and buns and make it a nice picnic that your dad and family will love. The fresh air calms everyone down and I'm sure your dad will love it! Bring a football, basketball, volleyball, and miss a few to make your old man feel like a champ.

It's What's for Dinner

1. Its time for you to think hard. What is your dad's favorite meal? Yup, that's exactly what's for dinner. After a hard day out breathing the fresh air and smelling the grill, I'm sure everyone wants to come home, eat dinner, and relax.

Make this Father's Day memorable. Our dads work hard to keep food on our place, a shirt over our backs and roofs over our heads. On Father's Day show your dad how much your appreciate him. We might forget to show our dads how much we care.

Happy Father's Day guys, I hope that I've given you some great tips for the Perfect Father's Day!
