Planning a romantic birthday dinner for your wife is easy if you keep it simple but sincere. Thoughtfulness is noticed and appreciated. Especially if your wife is not expecting a tribute to her being born. 1. Keep it simple but take the time to make it matter.
Being mindful of her conversations will always give you hints for what would please her. Did she mention that new restaurant that had rave reviews in the paper? That could be a major clue. Or, if she had lunch at a place she didn't care for, don't go there for supper.

Maybe along the way you'll see a pretty butterfly or a field of horses running and playing. Pack food you've made or take out. Just remember the essentials: utensils, plates, cups, napkins, drinks, and a pretty cloth or blanket to relax on.

Make the reservations when you know she'll have time off and you can get a babysitter if needed. She'll appreciate the gesture and you'll both be happy not to have to clean up after yourselves.
