Rosallee Scott
Don't feel like heading out into the crowded streets on July 4th. Would you rather snuggle up to the one you love alone? Here are ideas on how to plan a romantic Fourth of July for two this year.

Create Together
The old cliche that the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach can be just as true for a woman. Put on a couple patriotic aprons and cook up a storm together in the kitchen with these "Fourth of July Recipes on AC" and finish it off with sweet treats by searching through "Fourth of July Desserts on AC" Throw a white table cloth on the table or grab a blanket to picnic in the backyard. Put red roses in the center and light a few blue candles to really set the mood. Don't forget the red and white wine.

Buy Each Other Gifts
Get each other something sweet and patriotic such as a red, white and blue bouquet or American teddy bear. Wrap them up and exchange them after dinner. Search "Romantic Fourth of July Gifts" for other great ideas. Throw in other small trinkets, such as Love Coupons in red, white and blue and other goofy sentimental presents.

Rent Movies
Rent patriotic heartwarming and heartbreaking films such as "'Born on the Fourth of July" or "Glory". Another option is American classic fun date flicks such as "Independence Day" or the "Rocky" series. Search here: "Fourth of July Movies on AC" for other great ideas. Grab a snuggly red, white or blue blanket to share on the couch. Buy some specialty July 4th candy treats to munch on and some snowcones for added whimsy while enjoying the show.

End this romantic fourth of July at home for two by setting up a tent in the backyard and sleeping under America's stars.
