San Jose is a large city in the state of California. It has a population of about 973,672 people. It has a mild climate that makes outdoor adventures year round. However, the coldest and rainiest months of the year occur between November and April. December and January are both cold months that have average temperatures in the low 40s. If you are looking for a hot month to plan your honeymoon adventure then you will want to try and focus on July where the temperatures stay in the low to mid 80s.

Step 1: Learn About Local Tourist Attractions

San Jose has an amazing assortment of tourist attractions. These attractions range from local parks to cultural sites. While you are here you will want to visit: the Alum Rock Park, the San Jose Museum of Art, Tech Museum of Innovation, the Lick Observatory, the Chinese Cultural Center, the Hakone Garden, the Mexican Heritage Plaza, the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and the Winchester Mystery House.

In addition to water and hiking adventures you can also visit a local beach. Beach recreation ideas include picnicking, playing beach volleyball, walking and beachcombing. The local beaches that you can visit include: Capitola Beach, Cowell Beach and Hooper Beach. If you are interested in visiting a national park then you can travel 42 miles to visit the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail, or you can travel 47 miles to visit the Golden Gate National Recreation Area or the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park.
