Causes of Endangerment
Many factors can cause a plant to become endangered. Many of the same things that endanger animals, endanger plants too. The main cause of a plant species to become endangered is the loss of its natural habitat. A large reason this occurs is because of the expansion of man kind. As the human population grows, the more land man kind needs to comfortably survive. Unfortunately, as this improves the lives of humans, it threatens the survival of many plant species.
Loss of natural plants habitats is also caused by an increase in wild fires. Over the years wild fires have began to intensify. Many believe this is caused by global warming. As the temperatures rise the more wild fires appear. This causes many plant species to loose their natural habitat.
Other forces of natural can threaten plant species. Severe droughts can cause large numbers of plant species to die and possibly become extinct.
Loss of a plants habitat also occurs from the agricultural industry. As the need for more agriculture increase, the more land needed also increases. Land is often cleared to make pastures or crops. This causes plants to loose their habitat. Grazing animals can threaten many plant species as well.
Plants can also become endangered by the intent of mankind. Many rare plants are often collected by mankind for their rare beauty. There valuable plants can often be found in flouriest shops and nurseries.
Endangered Plant Species
Endangered plants do not have the same success rate as animals to be removed from the endangered species list. Often, it is not known a plant is endangered until it is too late. By then it is very likely those plant species will become extinct. Plants can become endangered over a long period of time or very rapidly. In order to save the plant species, it is very important fast action is taken.

I wish more humans would think a bit more about the effects of things they do. Great information!
