How to Play the Loose Money Tree Slot Machines

Shannon Frye
One of my all-time favorite slot machines is the Money Tree slot machine. The machine has a green tree on it, with dollar bills which appear to be falling from the machine. This machine is really easy to play. You pit the play button or you pull the lever. These machines are known for paying out very well. On the bonus level, you can win up to $300 alone. I have won $300 from the bonus level on one occasion. In order to get to the bonus level, you must bet max on each spin. On a 25 cent machine you will be betting 75 cents per spin.

If you get the bonus, a tree will appear before you. You have to hit the play button and the tree will begin to shake. You might also have to hit the button on the screen as well. When the tree shakes, money will fall from the tree. The tree can drop 100 dollar bills, 20 dollar bills, 10 dollar bills, etc. The most you can win from this bonus level is around $300. It's a lot of fun to play but in order to get the bonus level you must bet max. You can never enter the bonus level without betting max bet.

These machines are perhaps one of the loosest machines that you can play. They are know for paying out very well. People will fight over these machines at the casinos. Usually, you won't find any of these machines open. These machines can also come in $1 machines, which means that when you are betting max bet you will be betting $3 per spin. It's relatively hard to get the money tree bonus level, so I wouldn't bet max on every single spin. I would say that you get the bonus level around once every 50 spins.

These machines are very fun to play. Most casinos will not have this machine available. Some larger casinos will probably have this machine but you will need to look for it. If you see this machine is open, I would give it a try. You might walk away with a jackpot or $300 from the bonus level. It's really fun to play and it's easy to get the hang of. If the machine has bingo cards remember to change up the card because the amount you win will depend on your bingo card. If you have a good pattern, you will get paid more.

So if the tree appears before me, I press the 'play' button and the tree shakes? But I also might have to push a button to shake the tree? That sounds awfully confusing!

I'd also be concerned about all the money falling from the tree. Would someone else (e.g. my untrustworthy roommate) try to steal some of the money as it fell?

Sorry -- between the confusion and the money falling everywhere, this doesn't sound much fun to me! :(
