Having polished eyebrows is essential when it comes to have that clean, professional look. Many women are actually confused as to what to do to get polished eyebrows at home without having to go and pay money at an expensive salon. Here is look at how to get polished eyebrows at home by simply doing it yourself.

As you are starting out be careful with the tweezing! Many women make the mistake of assuming they need to tweeze an excessive amount. This can lead to a very thin, unnatural look. Instead you should just tweeze the obvious strays underneath the brow and above the brow. Remember you want to obtain a natural look so start out with just a small amount of tweezing so you do not over-do it. If you have problem areas where there is an excess growth in between the eyebrows remember to get this area so you avoid having what is called a "unibrow". This is the impression of one large eyebrow and it can look very messy and unkept.

Once you have the stray hair tweezed away you can then work on your natural curve or arch of your eyebrow. Pluck at the part where your natural arch is. To find this arch place a long makeup brush or pen at the middle of your lips to where it hits the outside area of your nose next to your iris. There you will find your natural arch.

Once you have plucked away and enhanced the natural arch to your eyebrows you can then determine if you are finished or if they need more enhancement. For those who have very light colored eyebrows may want to darken them a bit by using an eyeliner pencil in a shade darker than their natural hair color. Just add a very small amount of color to begin with to give off a natural look.

If you have any redness or puffiness from plucking simply hold a cool cloth to the area till the redness and puffiness goes away. Then you are ready to apply the rest of your makeup or finish your daily beauty regime.

By getting polished eyebrows at home you easily keep up with this task and save yourself the time and money of having to visit a salon just so you can get that polished look.
