How To: Post Comments on MySpace
Leave Comments for All Occasions!
Although leaving comments is very easy, tons of new members join MySpace's ranks every single day. When joining new any new website, or doing anything new for that matter, even the easiest task to an experienced, more long term member can be a difficult task to newer members. So I am here to help all you new members with one of the most important concepts of MySpace-- leaving comments.
First of all, you can only leave a comments a someones profile whom is your friend. If the person's profile you want to leave a comment on isn't your friend yet, simply send them a friend request by clicking the "Add To Friends" link which is located in the "Contacting 'X'" box. X being whatever their title is.
Once someone is your friend you can now leave them a comment for the whole world to see! If their profile isn't private of course. When a profile is private, only their added friends can view their full profile. If you're not their friend and go to their profile, the only thing you will see if the contact box and their main picture basically.
To leave a comment go to the bottom of their comment list, which is usually located near the bottom of the page. At the bottom of their comment list there is a link that is titled "Add Comment". This will open up a new page that contains a text area field where you can type what you want to leave in the comment. Once you're done typing what you want to type in the text field click the button that says "Post Comment". In doing this it will bring you to a new page for confirms what you want to say in the comment. If everything is correct in what you want to say, click the "Post A Comment" button. The comment will now be displayed on their profile for them to see.
However, there is a setting that allows them to 'OK' the comment before it is fully put through. When they have this active they must 'OK' the comment, and when they do the comment will then be put up and displayed. They can deny the comment though.
