How I Potty Trained My Cat

When I heard about potty training your cat I first laughed and then started to think on how much money I would save on not buying litter. So I decided to give it a shot. 2. Move kitty litter box to the floor next to toilet. Make sure that the toliet lid stays up at all times. I gave my cat a few days to adjust to the move into the bathroom. I also used our spare bathroom for this move.

3. After my cat got adjusted to the move. I placed a small box under the kitty litter box. It raised her litter box up about 5 inches. I left the litter box at that level for a week to have my cat get used to it.

4. After the week was over, I placed another larger box under the kitty litter box. With the larger box under the litter box it raised the litter box to be even with the toilet seat. I left the litter again at that level for another week.

5. After that week was over, I took away the box all together and placed her litter box directly on top of the toilet seat. I left it there for another week.

6. Once that week was over, I took away the litter box and put it in the garage so it was out of sight. I placed CitiKitty Toilet Training Kit in the toilet and filled it with litter. I left it that way for 2 days.

7. Every 2 days I removed one ring until I was able to take it out completely and my cat was using the toilet on her own!
