How to Powermine in Runescape

Hello, and I would like to show all of you how to powermine the most efficiently. I guess I should explain what the term "Powermine" means! Powermining is not the task of mining to earn money, but it is exactly the opposite. If you wish to gain experience quickly, then you want to powermine. Powermining is the term you when you drop the ores as you mine them, for fast xp.

First, I will explain how to powermine most efficiently.(See Pictures Below)

Step 1: First start with the first two slots filled with the ore

Step 2: Click the ore you are mining

Step 3: Right Click the first ore in the inventory

Step 4: When the ore is mined, click drop on the ore that you right clicked

Step 5: Click a new ore you are mining

Step 6: Right click the second ore in your inventory

Step 7: When the ore is mined, click drop the ore that you right clicked

Step 8: Repeat as necessary!

FOR NON-MEMBERS!

The easiest place for non-members to powermine ore would be the mine south east of Varrock. There are 3 iron ore rocks there! This place tends to get crowded though.

The easiest place for members to powermine ore would be the mine west of the Kharidian Desert. This is where you can mine granite, the best power mining ore! For members, this is the best way to achieve 99 mining.

If you are a member but do not want to risk going into the desert, there is a place where there are 3 iron ore rocks all next to each other. If you look on the map at Piscatoris Fishing Village, there is a mining icon right to the South-West of it. Get there from the Tree Gnome Stronghold. Exit the south gates and follow the walls West until you reach a person. Ask her to take you upriver for 50 gp's. It might have changed but it used to be 50. Once there you can just go and mine!
