Getting a person to fall for your prank call requires some acting skills, even if it just involves a voice and an accent. Just how do you make prank phone calls and how do you make it a good one.

1.Plan ahead.
Like any other prank, you should have a master plan before you even make a call. Think of who you'd like to play the prank on and how you're going to execute it Knowing your victim makes personalizing a prank a bit easier. Picking a person you know would be less embarrassing than picking a random person in the phone book so if you're new at this, target your friends instead.

2.Consider your victim

If you're from the U.S. dial *47 first then the number. If you're from the U.K., dial 141 first. When you hear the dial tone, punch in the numbers of the person you're calling for a prank.

5.Open strong.
Say your opening line and sell it. Make it seem like the real deal so your victim doesn't realize it's a prank and hang up. Remember, never break from your character or worse, laugh during the prank call.

6.Fast like a ninja.
Prank phone calls should not drag on so you better set a time for your prank call. Plan a good but short set-up for your punchline and end the prank phone call.

7.Record the call.
Keep a recording of the prank call you made. It may be proof that you PWNED your friend and who knows, you may be the next comedy sensation online!
