Begin by making the Sign of The Cross.
The Sign of the Cross:
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
(To make the Sign of The Cross use your right hand, to touch your forehead at the mention of the Father; the lower middle of your chest at the mention of the Son; and the left shoulder on the word "Holy" and the right shoulder on the word "Spirit." This pattern forms a Cross.)
On the cross pray the following prayer:
Saint Jude, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of; pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolations and the succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly... (State your intention here.) and that I may bless God with the Elect throughout Eternity. Amen.
On each of the 9 beads, pray One Hail Mary followed by the prayer to St. Jude.
The Hail Mary:
Hail Mary. full of grace, The Lord is with thee; Blessed are thou among women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, Now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Prayer to St. Jude:
Saint Jude, Apostle martyr and relative of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Mary and of Joseph, intercede for us.
At the end of the Chaplet pray the following prayers:
May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, and loved in all the tabernacles until the end of time. Amen.
May the most Sacred Heart of Jesus be praised and glorified now and forever. Amen
Saint Jude pray for us and hear our prayers. Amen.
Blessed be the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Blessed be the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Blessed be Saint Jude Thaddaeus, in all the world and for all Eternity.
The Sign of the Cross:
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
Easy Craft Idea:
The Chaplet of Our Lady of St.Jude consists a Cross (or Crucifix) attached to a strand of nine beads, usually at the end the strand a Medal of Saint Jude is attached. This chaplet is fairly easy to make using supplies from any craft store. Since it can be hard at times to find Saint medals at craft stores, feel free add another pendent in it's place.
