How to Prepare Your Body for Cleansing

If you carry on too fast, you may experience more cleansing effect than necessary, as your body would be take away toxins at an unhealthy rate. Every phase is intended to regularly get you ready for the next, making the experience more pleasant. Step1

Importantly, before you start the cleansing, eliminate caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, diet high in acid forming foods and soda. This will help to ensure that there is no effort with habits that could get in the way, thus reduce the effectiveness of cleansing. Yet, it is up to you, to decide when you are ready to begin the cleansing.

Avoid acid forming foods

Do check with your doctor if you are at present, taking any medications or have any serious physical condition issues.

Don't take part in any arduous and exhausting activities such as, running or weight bearing exercise. Do gentle exercise, such as walking and swimming.

Drink all the fresh vegetable juice you wish. Carrot, celery and kale juices are especially useful and provide tremendous resources of electrolytes. Nevertheless, those who have sensitivities to sugar should stay away from carrot, beet and fruit juice(s) seeing that they have high naturally occurring sugar content.

Be sure to get adequate nutrition through eating a diversity of food as vegetables (not starches as potatoes) and apples as apple, kiwi, mango, papaya, peach, pineapple, prunes, raspberries, strawberries and watermelon.

To save time through the week, get your meals ready ahead of time by cutting up fruits and vegetables and soaking beans, grains or nuts and making sure you have all necessary ingredients on hand.

Try to get organic produce whenever feasible, as it more often than not contains more nutrients. Most health foods stores will have what you are looking for.

If it happens that you eat soaked almonds, fresh corn on the cob, Goat whey or raw goat whey, Lima beans, Millet, Potatoes, Quinoa and starch vegetables, eat no more than 3 times per week. These foods considerably slow the detoxification process. On the other hand, if you going through cleansing reactions, you may want to consume more of these foods, or if you wish to speed up the process of the cleansing, then it is recommend eating less of these foods.
