How Can the Presence of God Be Described?

Roy Lawson
Many of the people who know about my unwavering belief in God, ask me how I can believe in a God when the world is full of war, crimes against people, sickness and so on? I just tell them the world is perfect, everyone is where they are supposed to be and doing what they are supposed to be doing.

I believe in reincarnation. If you believe in God, you have to consider the concept of being born again and again. If there was no reincarnation, the world would be a gigantic farce. If you believe as most religions tell you, you get one chance then it either Heaven or Hell, what kind of a God would create a system like that? I am just a lowly star child, but even I know that would not work. If everyone had the same starting point, wonderful parents, perfect life, a society where everyone got every thing they needed to be successful and happy in life, no crime, no sickness and all had beautiful healthy bodies, and if they still turned out to be evil people, maybe I could buy into the Heaven or Hell concept.

But that is not the case, people come from such differing backgrounds, some are rich, some are poor, some have wonderful loving parents who put a lot of effort into teaching them right from wrong, some have no parents and have to grow up stealing just to eat. There are so many differing circumstances people come into this world in, it seems some have no chance whatsoever of getting into heaven. A child born into a family of criminals or drug dealers or other low life types will usually grow into an adult that carries on the family ways, or even if a child has good parents but lives in an area where gang membership is almost mandatory if he wants to survive, these children have almost no chance of being good candidates for Heaven. They did not ask to be born in these horrible circumstances, or did they? I believe we are born in circumstances we choose before we are born to best continue our growth into the light. Nobody goes

from kindergarten straight into college.

It takes many lifetimes to learn the essons we need to learn before we can become citizens of the greater universe. God gives us the freedom to do anything we want, he puts no limitations on us, but he knows we are like children, we will make mistakes. Here and now is where we learn from our mistakes, whatever we do comes back to us. Do good and good comes back to us, do evil and that also comes back to us. Over many lifetimes we come to know these rules. If you rob and pillage this is the life you will get, and after a number of lifetimes your soul grows to the point where you hate being robbed and you become a person who will not rob anyone under any circumstances, the same with killing or any number of "sins." These are things it takes many, many lifetimes to

learn. There is Heaven and Hell right here on earth, and you, through your actions, earn the right to be where you are. After many lifetimes of trials that put you in the circumstances to make the choice between right and wrong, and you make the choice to harm no one in any way, you graduate from this planet of learning and take your place in the greater universal community, where there is no war, no crime, no sickness and you live your life in profound peace and happiness.

Think about this the next time one of your trials comes up and you have to make the decision between right or wrong, ask yourself, what would I do if God was standing next to me? Well my brothers and sisters, HE IS!!!!
