How to Preserve the Life of Your Cell Phone Battery

Dubtrizzle
Do you ever notice that when your cell phone is new, it seems like you can go weeks without charging it, but then, you find yourself charging is more than once a day just to be able to use it! This walk through will assist you in preserving that "like new" battery life for a bit longer.

First you will want to setup a schedule of when you will "kill" and "full charge" your battery. Batteries lose there life span when they are charged, without fully dieing. The memory is reset on the battery. The plan I go with is once a week, i do Saturday's because I can sleep in.

You will want to charge your phone like usual for the majority of the week, at night, in bed, whatever you are normally accustomed to. But on your "one day a week" don't charge your battery, let it completely die, until it turns itself off.

Once your phone kills itself, put it on charge, but leave the phone in the off positions. Yea you won't be able to make or receive phone calls, but sometimes that can be a blessing. Leave the phone off and on the charger until it is fully charged. You will find that doing this once a week will make the battery last much longer.
