As soon as you turn 25, you've stepped over a threshold to a new world: a world of wrinkles. As you look at yourself in the mirror, you'll realize that your skin's not as smooth and soft as it was before. However, it's not impossible to delay the onset of wrinkles. Besides changing bad living habits, keeping a positive attitude, and choosing the right skin care products, you also need to choose the right foods in order to win in your battle against wrinkles!

1. As you age, you should stay away from foods that could potentially cause wrinkles

You'd be surprised how much of daily diet is actually spurning the formation of wrinkles on your face. Canned meats, salad dressing, coffee, foods that have been frozen for too long, scallop, dried shrimp, frozen shrimp, chocolate, cake, ramen, and fried foods can all cause wrinkles! However, don't despair. You can still eat some of these foods, just not too often and not too much at one time. Furthermore, when you buy groceries, pay careful attention to the expiration date, especially on frozen and fried foods. Once the food's expired, it can do a lot of harm to the skin.

Another common food item that you should eat in moderation is salt. Not only can sodium cause high blood pressure, it can also damage your complexion. So be sure to stay away from overly salty foods!

2. Prevention + Repair: Moisturize

Keeping your skin moisturized is a task that you have to do your entire life, and it's not as easy as you think. Just choosing the right moisturizers isn't enough.

A) Moisturizing is especially important for people who have combination or dry skin types and people who are in air-conditioned environments for extended periods of time. These types of people need to be especially careful and reapply moisturizer every few hours in order to prevent wrinkles.

B) Women should also wash their faces with lukewarm water everyday and gently pat their faces with a warm towel afterward. Also, women should eat foods that contain high amounts of collagen and use makeup that have high moisture and collagen contents.

3. Eat lots of foods that can help prevent wrinkles

For people who want to prevent wrinkles, you must remember the following list of foods: chicken skin, fish, caviar, shrimp paste, oyster, animal organs, mushrooms, and tree mushrooms. All of these foods contain strong fibers and nucleic acid, which help keep the skin smooth.

In addition, mango is the best fruit for wrinkle prevention because it contains beta carotene and a special type of enzyme that aids in the differentiation and proliferation of healthy cells and the removal of waste cells. It can also stimulate the skin to produce more collagen, which delays the onset of wrinkles.

Remember to keep all these tips in mind the next time you go to the grocery store!
