How to Protect Yourself from Makeup Injuries and Infections

BS
Makeup is designed to make women look beautiful. There are millions of colors, styles, and types because there are millions of women all looking for something different. Each person has their own individual look and appearance that separates them from everyone else, and although they may buy the same makeup, they may wear it completely differently. Although there are millions of ways to use makeup and millions of looks that can be achieved through makeup, everyone who wears is can potentially be harmed by it. There are steps that everyone who wears makeup should take to avoid any bacteria, or even physical harm.

Don't share makeup to avoid makeup infections
Sharing makeup between friends doesn't seem like a big deal. Girls do it all the time, you forget your eyeliner, you borrow your friend's and the problem is solved. Although most people don't experience any effects of borrowing makeup, there is always a potential. The risk of contracting a bacteria, or infection, such as pink eye, is greatest in makeup products that come into contact with your eyes. Other makeup products such as lip gloss, lip stick, and lip balm, can also spread infections very easily. Always try to avoid sharing, but if you do anyway, make sure your friend isn't sick.

If you already have an infection, don't use your makeup
If you have an infection and you put your make up using your finger or a brush, and then dip that brush or your finger, the bacteria will get in your makeup. If the bacteria remains in your makeup, it could keep making you sick.

Don't apply makeup when you're driving to avoid physical injury
This seems like it would be very obvious, but you would be surprised the number of women that can be found putting on their makeup while driving to work. This can put you in some serious danger. Applying makeup can cause a car accident, which may be minor, but still nothing that anyone wants to deal with. There is also a possibility that it could be a very serious accident causing you or someone else physical harm. There has actually been a case where a woman's mascara went through her eyelid when she slammed on the breaks, and that doesn't sound very pleasant, so just get up a little earlier if you need more time for makeup.

Keep your makeup out of the sun and out of the heat
Always store your makeup in a place that is room temperature. Don't leave your makeup sitting outside, and if you do, stop using it. The reason for this is that heat can kill the preservatives that are in your makeup. These preservatives keep the bacteria from forming in your makeup, which keeps you safe, so you need them. Putting your makeup in your suitcase and things like that should be completely fine, just don't put your makeup right in front of your window or something like that.

I didn't know that about heat. I did leave an eyeliner in my car once and it became a puddle, so I couldn't use it anyway.
