How to Publish a Photo Slideshow on Associated Content

JAVC
Creating and publishing a photo slideshow in Associated Content is easy and straightforward, as shown in the following steps:

1. Click on "Publish" from the selection on the upper right corner of your main Associated Content (AC) page.

2. From the four format options you have (Text, Audio, Video, Images), select Images.

3. Click on SELECT to proceed working on your Slideshow Template.

4. The first set of information you have to provide is under the Basic Information tab. Note that for photo slideshows, you can only choose "Display-Only" Rights and "Automatic Performance Payments" for your payment option. Enter the Title, Subtitle (optional), and Descriptive Overview for your slideshow. Following the prompts, choose the category under which your slideshow appropriately falls. The last thing you need to do on the Basic Information page is to enter up to five words or phrases to tag your slideshow. Tagging your slideshow with words and phrases people will likely use to search photos like yours would increase the chances of people viewing your work; be mindful of this when tagging your photo slideshow. When done, click "Save & Next" to proceed to the next page.

5. Next, read the image submission guidelines and, if you agree, check the box next to the statement that you have read and agree to the guidelines.

6. Upload your images.

7. Once you've uploaded your photos, you can select the ones you want to include in your slideshow by moving them from the "Image Gallery" column to the "Slideshow" column. To move a photo, click on it and, while holding down your mouse button, move or drag the photo to the column where you want it to be. Once all the images you want included in the slideshow are in the "Slideshow" column, you can move photos up or down, arranging them in the order you want them to appear on your slideshow. When done, click "Save & Next" to proceed to the next page.

8. For the Image Information page, you can enter all relevant and necessary information to go with each photo in your slideshow. You can click on the question mark beside information prompts you may not fully understand. All fields are required to be filled out. When done, click on "Save & Preview" to see your photo slideshow!

9. Preview your slideshow. Check for typographical errors and other details you might want to change. To make changes, click on "Make Changes Now" and make necessary changes. When you're happy with what you've created, click "Publish" and you're done!

I think I'll try a slideshow. Do you have to have a certain number of photos?

I use Firefox and had trouble also. I made it work by dragging into the right column and pushing the up arrow which scrolled upward to the top. Upon reaching the top I released the photo and it stayed in place!

Like everyone else I can upload images but cannot drag them to the slideshow column. I've tried with Firefox, Safari, icab, and Opera, but the same thing happens. I'm a Mac user, so Internet Explorer is not an option. Please advise.

I have had the same issue as everyone else here. Took a slideshow assignment, use firefox, couldn't get the pics to drop into the second column.

Yea I claimed an assignment that was a slideshow one, and now I can't even upload that cause of the drag and drop. Will that be counted towards a penalty for not being able to deliver an assignment?
