How to Put Your Favorite YouTube Videos on MySpace

This tutorial will show you how to put your favorite YouTube videos on your MySpace profile. We all have favorite videos that we like to watch on YouTube. Some of them we would like to share with our friends. Now you can put your favorite videos on YouTube. This tutorial will show you step by step how to add the videos.

First, we will start out by finding one of your favorite YouTube videos. Go to YouTube and search for the video. When you find the video, click it to watch it. On the next page the video will load and to the right of the video you will see the code box. Highlight the code in the box. Right click on the code and click Copy from the menu that drops down.

The next step of this tutorial is to go to your MySpace account. Login to your MySpace account and go to the account page. You can get to the account page by clicking the Home link at the top of the page. You will need to click the Edit Profile link. This link can be found next to your avatar.

On the Edit Profile page you will see different boxes. The first box that you will see is the About Me box. If you are not seeing these boxes, you are not on the right page. To get to this page, click the Personal Info tab and then the Interests link. Now you will be on the right page. In one of these boxes, you will need to paste the code that you copied from YouTube. You can paste it in the about me box or any other box that you want. Wherever you paste the code, that is where it is going to appear on your profile page.

After you have pasted the YouTube code in one of the boxes, click the Save All Changes button. You will probably be asked to enter a bunch of numbers and letters in a field. This is just to make sure that you are not a robot trying to spam MySpace. Enter the numbers and letters and click Save.

Now you can go to your profile page and view your new video. You can add as many videos as you want to MySpace. Just keep in mind that adding a lot of videos will slow your page down when loading. Somebody using dial up will sit there for a day waiting for it to load. But how many videos you add is totally up to you.
