How to Put ImgAds into Your Bizpreneur Profile

Bizpreneur.com is, first of all, a business networking site with some similarities to Myspace.com. One thing they have developed that sets them apart from other similar sites is the ability to 'insert' your own affiliate Ad Block in your Bizpreneur profile page.

Quite naturally, they designed this 'ad block' to accommodate the ever-so-popular Google AdSense and AdBrite style of ads - but these are 'text-only' ads.

If you want something better and more unique than Google, AdBrite, or other 'text-only' type ads, then you need to look into what I have to tell you below.

First, you need a free ImgAds account, of course. If you don't already have one, go to http://www.imgads.com/?win=796 and see WHY this works better! (If you want to see a demo, go down about halfway and find the yellow "Simple Setup" box!)

You need to have a free Clickbank ID, too, (http://clickbank.com) because these are ads for the over-10,000 Clickbank products!

Once you have signed up with ImgAds, just go back to the page and scroll all the way to the bottom and click on "Login".

Once you login, go to 'Create Ad' in the top menu. In Step 1, choose Rectangular 336x260 (2 ads) (yes, I know that is actually larger than the instructions on Bizpreneur say they accept, but it works!)

In Step 2, pick the colors you want your ad to include.

In Step 3, under "Select Ranking", my recommendation is to choose "Random Top 10".

Under "Select a Channel", choose 'Create New Channel'. Then under "Channel Name", enter a name for this particular ad block - like BizPreneurAd or something like that, to distinguish it from other ad blocks you may want to place elsewhere.

Select a 'Category' of items you are interested in showing on your Profile and skip the 'Keyword' portion.

In Step 4, first click "Generate Code" and see your code show up in the box underneath.

Copy the code. (Highlight, right-click and select 'Copy'.)

Go to your BizPreneur profile and click on Edit Profile and then Profile Settings and go almost all the way to the bottom to where you see "Advertisement Medium rectangle (300x250)" and paste the code you copied into the box (right-click in the box and select 'Paste').

Save your settings and Voila! You now have added a better looking Ad Block than 90% of your fellow Bizpreneur users have!
