How to Make the Queen Goddess' Cake in a Bowl

Low Cal, Low Fat, and MMMM Good Too

Bubba
Y'all know simple is always best. The Queen Goddess has brought us a simple dessert recipe that will knock your socks off.. To me it only has one drawback there is no chocolate in it. Believe me I've tried it with the chocolate pudding, even tried adding chocolate chips it just isn't as good as the original. This is one of those recipes if you can open a can and an envelope you can make it, Yes even mwtsaginaw the proclaimed non-cook can make this one.

Queen Goddess' Cake in a Bowl

Ingredients:

1 Large container Sugar free Whipped Topping (Generic Cool Whip)

2 Large Packages of Sugar Free Instant Vanilla Pudding

1 Angel Food Cake (Store Bought)

1 Can of crushed pineapple in it's own juices (Drain well)

1 Can Mandarin Oranges in it's own juices (Drain well)

1 Can Sugar Free Cherry Pie Filling (Blueberry works too)

Directions:

Drink pineapple juice and mandarin orange juice mixed together over ice (if you need spirits add them), do not share this is the cooks treat.. Now cut up cake into bite sized cubes and set aside. Mix dry pudding mix into whipped topping. Mix pineapple, oranges, and cherry pie filling into whipped topping mixture. Mix this mixture with cubed angel food cake. Cover and chill at least Sixty Minuets. Overnight is OK.

Notes:

If you put this in a fancy cut glass bowl it is an elegant dessert. If you put it in a Tupperware Bowl it's an everyday crowd pleaser.

Once the gang has tried this you will find it difficult keeping it for a party, they seem to know when your making the Queen Goddess' Cake in a Bowl.

A simple solution to this problem is make two one for the mooches and one for the party. This recipe does double well if you want to make it that way.

It will hold up in the fridge for a week, but we've never had it last that long.

OK the recipe is now yours. Change it if you must but make it for the family tonight. Invite the Pastor or Rabi over for coffee, hot cocoa, or tea and cake. Invite the neighbors over just to try a new recipe. Invite the Rabi or Pastor to find a reason for a potluck supper or a dessert and coffee meeting so you can share the new recipe. Git R Done and enjoy every bite. Mizpah ;-}}>
