If you will be hosting any kind of party or social event in 2010, you may be thinking about how to make easy last minute props, decorations or crafts to spruce up your home or apartment. Here are some easy and quick ideas on making do-it-yourself Halloween props or decorations for lots of fun during that last minute party.

Nobody wants to spend their hard-earned money on party decorations or props that they can only use once and then are forgotten. People want decorations and party props that are easy to make or create and that do not cost much money at all. That is why there are lots of ideas on how to make quick and easy party props or Halloween decorations.

Orange Pumpkin Leaf Trash Bags

One of the fastest ways to make quick and easy last minute Halloween props is to fill up an orange pumpkin leaf trash bag and set it near your front yard or even in your back yard if you plan on having your party out back. These bags are pretty cheap and you can always buy them in advance so you have them in case you need them. If it is in the Fall or Winter, you can fill them with leaves. If not, just grab a bunch of old clothes and fill the bags. You can buy the orange pumpkin trash bags at amazon.com. Check out this link for an inexpensive set, or this site for a larger package. Almost everybody loves seeing these big orange pumpkin bags filled up and they can be used all year long, not just on Halloween or during October. Orange pumpkin bags are great Halloween props, of course.

Pinecone Turkey Thanksgiving Crafts

If you have a bunch of pine cones in your yard or neighborhood, then you are well on your way to one of the coolest little DIY craft for that last minute family get-together or social party in 2010. Making small little pinecone turkeys out of pine cones is easy and fun, mostly because pine cones are already the shape of fat turkeys. You just need to add some little extra craft items and your pine cone will soon look like a fun-loving turkey. If you don't already have extra craft supplies at home, you may need to stop at the crafts store to pick up some feathers, some googly eyes, and some yellow and red felt. Follow the instructions at familyfun.go.com or crafts.kaboose.com and you will soon have some adorable little pinecone turkeys that are a blast to make and to enjoy.

Mummy Hand Ice Cubes Treat

One of the easiest and fastest Halloween props of all time is that of the frozen hand. Just grab a new latex glove, fill it with water, tie the open end, and pop it in the freezer. After a few hours you can take it out and put it around the house or yard or in a potted plant. For more instructions on this idea, visit the Web site of kidsturncentral.com.
