How to Quickly Heal from an Injury

Rik Rodriguez
How many times have you seen someone that has been injured heal up quickly? Some people think because their parents heal rapidly that they will also. This isn't always the case. In order for you to heal you need to have proper rest. You will also want to eat well and drink plenty of fluids. Now I know you are expecting me to say that you should take all the drugs that your doctor has ordered you to take. Look you are responsible for your own health, even though your doctor told you to follow a certain treatment or take a certain pill. It is your responsibility to know what pill you are taking and what effect it has on your body. Just don't take your doctors word for everything. Doctors make plenty of mistakes and as I have stated you need you know what you are putting into your body. Most medications are not to help in the healing process, even though some of us believe that pills help us to be healthy its usually not the case. Pills normally are made to suppress the symptoms of your illness. That's why you have to keep taking them. So healing from injuries can be as simple as getting proper rest, water and food.

Now if your body is so unhealthy in general that you are unable to heal. You many want to try supplements to aid in your recovery. So many times when I have had a minor injury that seemed to be bothering me even after the doctor said it was healed. I would visit my local health food store and ask the clerk what would be the best supplement to help me out. Most of the time I would heal not always but most of the time. So listen to your body and give it what it needs to function properly. Some people might be surprised to find out that they are healthy. Get plenty of rest and drink as much clean clear water as you can. Sure you probably hear this all the time but you will notice the difference if you start to drink more water and less sugary drinks. I realize that most of the jobs today will not allow you to drink as much water as you need to. If many of us drank all the water that our bodies required we would be away from our desks half of the day. So I would just try to be more aware of your water intake and you will heal faster and stay healthier. It is much easier in the long run to take care of yourself. It isn't necessary to become fanatic about the food you eat . This seems to only bring on more stress for the body. Use common sense when it comes to taking care of yourself and your family.
