How to Use Quotes in a Scrapbook

Quotes can make a scrapbook come to life. Quotes make the pictures have more meaning. Quotes bring back wonderful memories of the pictures in a scrapbook. Quotes can help you remember when and help you see the true meaning of any photo in a scrapbook. Here is how to add creative quotes to your scrapbook.

STICKERS: You can add quotes by using pre-made, store bought quotes. You can find these in the scrapbooking section of any craft store and in the craft section of most retail stores. The craft stores will have a larger selection of quotes to choose from with better detail. They will have children's quotes, wedding quotes, vacation quotes, birthday party quotes and more. The options for quotes in scrapbooking are endless and can really bring life and action to the pages in your scrapbooking projects.

STENCILS: You could use stencils to add your own custom quotes to your scrapbook also. You can find stencils in most any size and many different font styles. You can find cursive or simple letters in craft stores and most retail stores. The fun part about stencils is that you can use different colors to make your words with. You could even make every word a different color in your quote using stencils, use your imagination and make it interesting.

WRITING: If you can do any kind of fancy writing, like calligraphy this would also make a cute way to write quotes in a scrapbook. You could simply use your handwriting also, if it is neat enough.

USE BOTH: You can combine the use of sticker quotes and stencils quotes in your scrapbook also. Use stickers on some pages where the pre-made quotes fit and describe the pictures well and use stencils quotes on other pages where you need to ad-lib and make your own saying and quotes to really describe the pictures. Since some of the sticker quotes are generic and may not truly describe your pictures, you will need to use stencils to use your words at times.

Remember to be creative in using quotes with scrapbooking. You will look at your scrapbooks for years to come, just like a photo album, and you want them to be able to bring back the warm feelings and good memories of when the pictures were taken. That is where quotes come in handy, simply making all of the memories flood back and seem like it all happened yesterday.
