How to Rate Associated Content Articles.

The Content Producers (CP's) contributing to Associated Content (AC), write articles on a variety of subjects. Some are well crafted and some, well are like mine. You, the AC readers, can control our little literary world. You should let your opinion be known.

The ranking stars: Once you have read an article, clink on what you think is the appropriate ranking for the article. For example, if you actually finished reading the article, a three stars or higher ranking is in order. If you learned something or liked the article, a 4 or 5 star ranking should be considered. If you know the person writing the article a 1 or 5 star vote is normal, depending on if you actually like the person.

Tell your friends: If you really like or really dislike an article you should tell your friends to view and vote. The "tell your friends campaign" is the quickest was to let a CP know how you really feel. Driving a CP's rank to five stars says keep up the good work. Driving their article to 1 (sorry negative stars are not allow, since I started writing it has been considered though) is a great way to say "don't give up your day job."

Leaving comments: Comments are a great way to express your opinion to the CP. Praising comments mean you are encouraging the CP to write more. Negative comments can mean anything from go back to school you dumb##s, to you might want to get off the sauce before writing. When writing a very critical comment if is often best to proof your comment before posting. "u dumarse, I kin rote bettrn yose", normally doesn't have the desired impact on the CP. A simple, "Are you on crack?" carries much more weight.

Avatars: Those cute little pictures, are the easiest way to comment. A thumbs up or smiley face indicates a positive response to the articles. A thumbs down or frowny face indicates disapproval. A frowny face urinating on the CP's name normally indicates disapproval of the content unless the article was about unusual fetishes.

Some audio avatars have been used by readers and are very effective. Chuckles indicate you appreciated their sense of humor. Long renditions of gas being passed indicates you may not have agreed with the CP's point of view. A firing squad audio can be used to encourage the CP to pursue another career path.

The use of a "tell your friends" campaign to drive all of the CP's articles rankings up or down can be extremely effective. When driving the CP's rankings up, comments may be omitted. When driving the rankings down, a simple link to help wanted ads or the long gas passing audio avatar is appropriate.

I hope the reader finds this article informative. Your participation in ranking the content producer's articles is needed to inspire high quality content.

The stars will soon be changed to little monkey icons that fling feces at the screen when you click them. This will prove to be a much more effective voting method. Ohhh-Ohhh-Heee Ahhh-Ahhh-Haaa.

I joined the recipricle group in the new members area and added them all to my list so I could be notified when they were published. I always write a comment, and always rate the content. This article has excellent tips in it. Thanks
