Here is what my research lead me to. I've discovered some well known AOL email addresses to report spam to, which I've tested for a month.
Those email addresses are:
The last email address TOSGeneral@aol.com will get you a brand new right out of high school tech support reply. They will actually reply about how they permit their members to spam, and it's not a breach of their TOS. Which I find awesomely amazing, and would lead to a great lawsuit I'm sure. Replying to them will only end up wasting your time further as each person that gets your letter is even stupider then the next, which I didn't even know was humanly possible to be that dumb, and be paid to hold the job.
emailfaq@aol.com This email address will get you an automated reply about being out of office, or some thing. I don't read auto replies nor retain the pointless of them. I simply want someone other then abuse to see the email spam, and actually do something about it.
Only after complaining on Twitter to @AOL and @AOLSupportHelp did I actually grab someone's attention. Who knew that's all it took, I would have done it years ago. Doing so was when I discovered the email address ecorsupporthelp@aol.com which lead to a real life human being with more then just a high school education. Someone who read the email, and closed the spam account I had been reporting for years to the abuse@aol.com email address. This was of course after the first few emails woke the person up to realize I wasn't an AOL member, and I'm not going to block *@aol.com when it's one account nonstop spamming me.
So if you encounter AOL spam, don't waste your time reporting it to the typical default AOL abuse email address. Email ecorsupporthelp@aol.com instead. Be sure to include full headers, and save the email in case you have to report it a few times for them to wake up.

Post a CommentThat address doesn't appear to be working anymore. Here's the automated response that I got when I reported spam to it:
Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the unsolicited email. Please forward the original email abuse@aol.com or click report spam. Please do not send spam to ecorsupporthelp@aol.com this is not the correct reporting. We appreciate you contacting AOL.
AOL sucks balls. Only a pretty ignorant doofus would even consider using AOL's services... Duh@
