Rather than lining your lips with your lip liner, cover your entire mouth with lip liner as if it were lipstick in addition to lining your lips. This way, you get the definition and the fuller lips that you want, without the risk of having your lipstick wear off and leaving you with that pale lip and dark lining (so attractive). Your lip liner should shade your whole mouth to give you true definition and make your color and shape look more realistic, not just around the lips, which will eventually give you away.
After you've both lined your lips and filled them in with your lip liner, then you can put on your lipstick, either the same color or a similar hue to your lip liner. If your lipstick wears off sometime during the day, then your lip liner will come to the rescue, allowing you to still have your lip color and fullness and definition without having to worry about reapplying your lipstick all day long. It's like wearing all-day lipwear, without the hefty cost!
