How to ReCreate a Healthy Digestive System

Gerald McLeod
Were you aware that 90% of all human diseases emanates from an unclean colon? Within your colon, decaying food ferments and create gases. Also, second and third generation toxins lay in wait and become a breeding ground for putrefied bacteria, parasites, yeast, mold, viruses, and a host of germs that can attack your body during low immune periods. Your colon and bowel is the repository of all waste material after your body have removed all of the healthful vitamins and nutrients from what you have eaten. The nutrition from the food is absorbed and processed into your blood stream. The waste is transferred to the colon where it stays until it is removed. Ideally, this transit should occur within 12 hours, unfortunately, a number of us have poor elimination habits, which allow this waste to habitat longer. Without proper internal body waste management, poor elimination can develop into a serious problem.

The majority of us accept infrequent bowel movements, gas and flatulence, bad breath, and body order as common everyday bodily functions, when in reality; they are actually common symptoms of poor colon health. Constipation and colon toxicity are generally the result of three factors; internal contamination by the non food chemicals we ingest and environmental pollutants, over accumulation of waste and byproducts that are not excreted properly, and delayed elimination time. The key to avoiding colon and bowel problems is often improved nutrition.

The two biggest crimes the majority of us commit against our bodies consistently is neglecting to nourish the internal organs that are responsible for the evacuation and elimination of our waste materials and our failure to stop everything we are doing and cater to our bodily urge to evacuate the bowels whenever our body request it. Your body is designed to with stand a certain level of contamination; however, when that level is surpassed your immune system becomes affected because of the toxic overload that results and sickness occurs. A diet of high fiber and unrefined foods is what is required to both cure and prevent waste elimination problems. A gradual transition to this type of diet is preferred as oppose to a drastic about face, especially if your colon, bowel and bladder are painful and inflamed.

The recommended process to transition from poor elimination to radiant colon health is as follows;

Reduce and attempt to eliminate all refined foods, saturated fats, fried foods, and caffeine from your diet.

A cleansing juice diet or a colonic irrigation should be completed initially.

To aid your system to move from high acidity to alkaline, the daily consumption of 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of honey mixed in a glass of water should be observed.

Develop the habits of chewing your food well (20 to 30 chews before sallowing) and eating smaller meals.

Avoid over the counter antibiotics, antacids, and milk of magnesia. These products kill friendly intestinal flora.

Add the following to your daily supplement routine, acidophilus, garlic, brewer's yeast, and omega 3 flax seed oil tablet. These supplements encourages healthy, friendly intestinal flora.

If you do experience elimination problems, milk thistle seed extract will enhance bowel output and soften your stool.

Switch to a diet of healthy green vegetables, 100% fruit and vegetable juices, pasta, grains, seeds, bran, and yogurt. Also drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.

Add a light daily exercise regiment to your routine, such as a 15 minute brisk walk.

There is no easy route to improved colon and bowel health. While the body cleansing process may occur fairly quickly, it may take from three to six months for the full process to take place. There will be some uncomfortable periods, but the rewards of a regular, energetic, and correctly functioning body waste management system will be well worth it.
