How to Reduce Wrinkles - Is There a Miracle Cure Out There?

Shirley Adkins
I was looking through the picture album today. I kept seeing pictures of a young, pretty woman and was wondering who it was, then it hit me: That was me a few years ago!! Wow! Where did this old wrinkled up hag come from? ( Oh, come on, don't tell me that you've never done the same!)

Anyway, after seeing the difference that only a few years had made in my appearance, I decided to jump on the web and do some researching. I just had to find out if there were any "miracle cures" out there that would give me my youthful appearance back. WHOA!! So many products that promises you a younger, prettier face and body! Way too many products to put into one article so I will limit this one to wrinkle removers only.

The quickest way to wrinkle-free skin is medical procedures such as Botox, laser resurfacing and cosmetic surgery. Personally, I don't believe in having any invasive treatments performed unless it is absolutely necessary. For this reason, I am not including information about these. You will have to research those on your own.

My research has turned up a vast list of wrinkle reducing creams and lotions. They claim to reduce wrinkles from instantly to 11 minutes after applying. However, no where does it say what happens after you wash it off. Does the wrinkles show back up immediately? These products retails for $40-130.00 per jar or tube. (Oh, man, the price we pay to be beautiful!!)

According to http://www.bestantiwrinklecreamreviews.com/reviews-of-anti-wrinkle-creams and http://www.bestwrinklecream.org/ the two wrinkle creams that tested to work the best are LifeSkinCell and Athena 7 Minute Lift.

If you are going to use creams or lotions to fight wrinkles, the Mayo Clinic staff recommends purchasing products that includes the following active ingredients: retinol, hydroxy acids, coenzyme Q10, copper peptides, kenetin, or tea extracts. The Mayo Clinic staff also suggests that you try these more reliable ways to improve and maintain your skin's youthful appearance: Protect your skin from the sun, choose products with built-in sunscreen, use moisturizers, and don't smoke.

Important Note: I have not tried any products I've mentioned above. I am not recommending any specific brand or product.

When I first saw the Vitamin Enhanced Face Firming Serum (from the Made from Earth skincare line) I thought, you have got to be kidding. $50 for face cream!!?? But after reading some reviews on the internet - i decided to give it a try - I have tried everything! The site promised it would help my dry, irritated, acne-prone skin with wrinkles.

I LOVED it. For the first time, my skin was not irritated by this wrinke treatment . I have very sensitive skin especially under my eyes. And, no more zits. None. A bottle lasts me almost 6 months, and it helped my skin more than ANY $200 facial I ever got! Just makes your skin look as good as it possibly can look, and I think it's worth every penny. I am on my 4th bottle (that means using it for almost 2 years now). I also have use their Olive Night Creme, which is about $40, but I don't think that is anything special to be honest with you. Not anything like the Vitamin Enhanced Face Firming Serum. Definitely recommended for women seekin
