Linda Binns, a Feng Shui expert and renowned author, believes that very good and positive changes can be made in relationships by using Feng Shui. She does warn that before you start a Feng Shui re-do of your space, be sure you know just what you want to change. It's easy to use the wrong colors or introduce the wrong objects if you aren't very sure of what you want to change. Think about it some and make a plan before you act. "Perhaps you want to strengthen or rekindle the flame of an existing relationship. Perhaps you want to attract an exciting new romantic partner to your life. Perhaps you want to find a life partner with which to share the future. While there can be a variety of issues or scenarios, it is important to begin by considering your current situation and recognizing what you would like to change" according to Ms. Binns.
It's important enough to repeat....your first step is to decide exactly what you want to change. Is it an existing romance or are starting a brand new relationship? Are you seeking a permanent change or just a temporary uplift? These kinds of questions are best settled in advance so the outcome will be the best.
Recommended changes for your consideration include:
- Pick out pictures of you and your partner that show you as a couple, if you want to make this relationship better. Pictures of the two of you in a group symbolizes your willingness to surrender you time together to the group, so don't use these group photos.
- Create some intimate spaces like a corner cluster of flowers or collectibles. These intimate spaces convey a close relationship.
- Place things in pairs. For instance put two vases together with each containing two flowers. Put two pillows on each end of your sofa. Always have two pencils together in your pocket or purse. Rearrange your picture into pairs as much as you can. Say "bye bye" when ending a call instead of "good bye". Focus on pairs.
- Keep your bed relatively uncluttered so that there is clearly space for a couple.
- Make your bathroom and bedroom as full as you can with warm colors like taupe or cocoa. These warm colors generate the loving relationship that you seek and they keep adding to the warm energy in the space where you live and rest.
- Remove clutter wherever you find it because clutter distracts you from the energy available in Feng Shui placements. The bedroom should be free of things that take your attention away from the pairs symbols and the warm colors that enhance a warm and comfortable feeling.
It's important to realize that the objects around you have a significant impact on how you feel and how you react to other people. Binns notes that...."those who become familiar with the principles and practice of Feng Shui, the results can be remarkable. "
Plan the changes, make the changes and reap the love and affection.
