Take a hot bath. Make sure that you set aside some "me" time and draw yourself a nice warm bath and get some bath salts, light some candles and just relax. Remember that book that you have been wanting to read? Well here is your chance. After a while you will feel so relaxed and forget about the crazy morning you had. Try to see if you can make this a habit to have time to yourself and just really relieve some stress.
Sometimes the best way to relax is to just go for a walk. Pick up your mp3 player and leave everything else behind. Go to your local park, or walk around the block, you would be surprise as to how calming a walk can be, especially in the evening, go ahead, try it, it's free.
Listen to your favorite tunes. Music is also a great way to relax, just put on your favorite song and see how you forget about your troubles. Whatever your genre of music is, play it, I love listening to anything 80's and I get so nostalgic and I sing along and have a great time, its amazing what the power of music does to the mind and soul. Just make sure the curtains are closed when you decide to dance around and have too great of a time, believe me, you don't want the neighbors thinking that you've gone mad.
Do you have that one friend that can always put your mind at ease? Well? Call him/her on the phone or better yet,, give them a visit. People in our lives can really make a difference in our moods, and if you have a pal that can always make you laugh or just have a great time just talking about everything to nothing , give them a call or just go hangout.
And lastly, this is one is absolutely my favorite way of relaxing, if everything else is not suitable for you, then you will just simply love this.....Take a nap! I can't begin to tell you how many days of craziness has occurred in my life and I just want to calm down, I simply take a nap, I walk straight into my bedroom and just lay down turn on some sounds of nature and sleep, you will wake up feeling so refreshed. And these, my friends ,are how I like to relax and get rid of some of the stress that our daily lives have prepared for us. Hope you can find some time to try them out.
