If you have a lot of stress in your personal life or work, you must wonder if there are simple ways to relieve stress. In fact, some good habits can help you reduce stress effectively:

Habit#1 Bring more vegetables into your diet.

Most vegetables contain a lot of vitamin B and magnesium which are allies in your fight against stress. In effect, stress can erode magnesium easily. Therefore, it's important to replenish this mineral.

Habit#2 When you stay late in office, eat dried fruits and nuts as snack.

According to researches, hazelnuts, almonds and raisins are excellent sources of vitamins B, magnesium and selenium. Almonds, for example, are full of vitamin B2 and E, which combat stress. As for raisins, they are high in iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and vitamins B1 and B6.

In addition, dried fruit and nuts are full of carbohydrates and fiber.

Habit#3 Eat cereals as breakfast.

In the morning, a bowl of cereal containing oatmeal, muesli or bran, can fuel you up until lunchtime. Furthermore, it helps your body produce serotonin, a hormone that regulates mood. Therefore, cereals can bring you calmness and serenity.

The cereal containing wheat germ is also rich in vitamin B, iron, phosphorus and vitamin E, which are nutritious for your nervous system.

Habit#4 Choose Banana as dessert.

If you have the habit of eating dessert after each meal, the sweet banana can be a good choice for you. Banana is full of vitamin A, vitamins B, vitamin C and minerals, including iron, calcium, potassium, copper and magnesium, which can nourish your nervous system.

Habit#5 Eat more food rich in Omega-3.

Omega-3 is good for your eyes and brain. Thus, regularly eating fatty fish like salmon, tuna, sardines, herring and halibut can bring you vitamins B5, B9 and B12, which can effectively fight against nervousness and fatigue.

Habit#6 Eat a bar of dark chocolate before participating in a stressful meeting.

A dark chocolate bar can not only bring you a delicious sweet taste, but also effectively boost your mood.
