How to remove coffee stains? It's easy and simple. I've listed a few ways you can accomplish this. You should already have a lot of the items you will need, so there is no reason to run out and purchase more cleaning solutions.

The thing with removing coffee stains is that they should be removed right away if possible. They come up a lot easier when they are fresh. If you aren't able to do this, don't worry, you may still be able to remove them, it will take a little more effort.

How To Remove Coffee Stains From Natural Fabrics Like Cotton:

These methods can be used at home, work or anywhere away from home or even at home. Just make sure to wash the item as soon as it's possible.

1. Run cold water on the coffee stain and blot up any stain that is left.
2. Dab garment with club soda, Sprite or even 7 Up, then dab clean water on it to rinse, and blot.
3. Pour either straight or diluted vinegar over coffee stain, then blot dry.
4. Use 1 part dish washing liquid and 2 parts water. Dab on coffee stain until it's gone.
5. Soak garment in a container milk overnight, then wash.

Removing Coffee Stains From Man Made Fabrics Like Polyester

This particular method can only be used at home. If the coffee stain has been in your garment all day, you can use this procedure and repeat it if the stain remains. Prepare the solution below and soak your garment or fabric for about 15 or 20 minutes, then blot the item with denatured alcohol. This should remove your coffee stain.

1 gallon of warm water
1/4 cup of white vinegar
2 teaspoons of dish detergent

Cleaning Coffee Stains From Natural Fabrics Like Wool

1. Dab water on the coffee stain and blot up. Wet a clean cloth with a solution of 1 part glycerin,
1 part white dish washing detergent and 8 parts water, then add a few drops of vinegar to it. Cover the coffee stain with the glycerin solution cloth and let it sit for as long as the coffee stain continues to come up.

Flush the garment with clear water, and if the stain is still coming up, and the glycerin solution cloth is dry, wet it again with more glycerin solution and vinegar and reapply to the stain. Flush with clear water each time the glycerin solution is reapplied.

2. You can also use denatured alcohol. Pour a little alcohol over the coffee stain, then moisten an a pad with alcohol and place it over the stain also. Let it sit for as long as the stain is still coming up. If it is, then change the pad and repeat the process. When the stain is removed, flush fabric or garment with clear water.

Remove Coffee Stains From Natural Fabrics Like Leather

1. Gently blot up all the excess coffee without pressing into the fabric. Apply the foam from a dish detergent and water mixture. Use foam only. Clean up with a damp cloth dipped in clear water.

Removing Coffee Stains From Man Made Fabrics Like Rayon

1. Dab water on the coffee stain and blot up. Wet a clean cloth with a solution of 1 part glycerin,
1 part white dish washing detergent and 8 parts water, then add a few drops of vinegar to it. Cover the coffee stain with the wet spotter cloth and let it sit for as long as the coffee stain continues to come up.

Flush the fabric with clear water, and if the stain is still coming up, and the cloth is dry, wet it again with more of the glycerin solution and vinegar and reapply to the stain. Flush the surface with clear water each time the glycerin solution is reapplied.

2. You can also cover the stain with a cloth dampened with a commercial stain remover. Cover and let it sit for about 30 minutes before adding more stain remover if needed. When the coffee stain is completely gone, flush with clear water.

Remove Coffee Stains From Carpets Made From Natural Fabrics Like Wool

1. Blot up all the excess coffee. Make a solution of ½ teaspoon liquid dish washing detergent, 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 1 quart of warm water. Flush the stain with the solution, then blot up with clear water and a soft cloth.

2. You can also use a commercial stain remover. Apply, blot then flush with clear water. Repeat this process until the stain is gone, then blot up all the excess water.

Cleaning Coffee Stains From Surfaces Like Porcelain

1. You can clean the item by simply washing with hot water and dish washing detergent.
2. Clean the item with baking soda and a damp cloth.
3. Soaking the item in diluted bleach until the stain is gone.

How To Clean Coffee Stains From Surfaces Like Granite and Wood

1. Just clean by gently brushing with dish washing detergent and warm water.

2. You can also cover the stain with a cloth dampened with a commercial stain remover. Cover and let it sit for about 30 minutes before adding more commercial stain remover if needed. When the coffee stain is completely gone, flush with clear water.
