Having reached a point of desperation, I called my brother-in-law and he told me about some kind of acid that's used for cleaning pools. I was excited about it at first until he told me about how it could eat up my skin and burn my lungs and sinuses if I inhaled it. He said I had to hold my breath, pour it around the toilet bowl, and run from the bathroom as fast as I could.
Needless to say, I decided to pass on his advice and was ready to resign myself to accepting the stains as an unfortunate part of life that I had to live with.
However, my daughter, who hasn't a domestic bone in her entire body, decided one day that she was going to tackle the rust stains in the bathroom. Yeah, right, I thought. That evening, I heard her running water in the bathroom and was waiting for her to come to me saying that it was hopeless and I was ready to tell her, "I told you so!"
Not fifteen minutes later, she came into my room and asked if I wanted to see how clean she had gotten the toilet. "No way!" I said, coming quickly out of my chair, making a beeline for the bathroom.
I went absolutely berserk, staring at a perfectly white toilet bowl. "How in the WORLD did you do this? It's impossible! I have been trying to clean these rust stains for years!"
She reached over and showed me a product that I'd never seen before called, The Works. I asked her how she knew about it and she said, "I didn't, Mom. It was the cheapest toilet bowl cleaner on the shelf."
"What! You're kidding me! The cheapest?"
"Yeah. I just squirted it around the rim of the bowl and the rust stains disappeared. I brushed and flushed. That's all I did."
I'm telling you, I have tried them all including Lime Away and CLR. Nothing I have used so far beats The Works. It's amazing. I'm not affiliated with this product at all. I just know that it removes rust stains and it's cheap. What more could one ask for? My daughter bought it at Wal Mart so it's not hard to find.
Jesus Christ is my Lord, my Savior and King. I fear (respect) the Lord and believe He listens to everything we say (write) and I'm telling you the honest truth. I was ready to pay up to $20 for something that would take away those ugly stains. My daughter found The Works for less than two dollars!
Therefore, if you're plagued with hard water and rust stains, there's no need to suffer with it any longer. The Works is easy to use and inexpensive. Try it and see. The Works really works!

Post a CommentThank you Pat. I'm sold.
My sister loves the Works cleaner. The bottle looks very similar to the Lysol toilet cleaners. Instead of assuming those products on the shelf are all the same, we need to compare the labels.
