The Keystone Ski Resort Website
When I first started researching places to stay around Keystone, I figured I'd visit the actual Keystone website in order to compare pricing and availability. I figures their prices would be higher than some of the other companies, but I was wrong. When you visit the Keystone site, you will see a link on the home page for lodging. When you click on the link, it will bring you to a page that will allow you to choose where in Keystone you'd like to stay. They have options for East Keystone, River Run Village, Mountain House, Lakeside Village, North Keystone and West Keystone. Each location has unique aspects that you may find appealing. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you can choose the dates of your trip and the number of people who will be vacationing with you. After choosing this option, you will be brought to a page that has multiple choices for rental properties. You can choose from houses, condos, hotel rooms, townhouses and more. Each lists the prices per night as well as where the lodging is located. You may find that lodging in River Run Village and Lakeside Village are a bit higher priced, but this is only because of the closeness of all the attractions. Overall, the prices for any lodging though this site are very reasonable. In addition, the Keystone site also allows you to purchase your lift tickets in advance in order to save. The more days worth of tickets you buy, the more money you save. So this is a great deal as well.

Resort Quest Keystone
Resort Quest Keystone is another website that potential vacationers can visit in order to find lodging for Keystone Resort. This site has the widest array of rentals to choose from, but they were also the most expensive site that I found. They do have specials and promotions running such as 2 free lift tickets with your rental and 20% off any ski/snowboard gear you may need, but if you are staying at Keystone for an extended period of time, you might be better off purchasing your lift tickets through the Keystone website in order to save yourself more money. As the ski season progresses, Resort Quest Keystone's pricing rises. So while prices are reasonable for November dates, as you get into February and March, the prices rise significantly. Resort Quest Keystone does have reasonable pricing for lodging that is not in the premier keystone spots, but if you are looking to get the whole Keystone experience, you might be better off renting through another company. It never hurts to check them out though; you may just find a great place to stay that is within your budget.

Ski Keystone Colorado
Ski Keystone Colorado is another website that can help you find the perfect rental for you stay at Keystone Resort. Ski Keystone Colorado is very similar to Resort Quest Keystone, except that I found their pricing to be lower overall. Ski Keystone Colorado also gives you the option of choosing whether you want to search for lodging, hotels or resorts (instead of having you put in your travel information and giving you back all the available places to stay) This option helps you to narrow your search and find what it is that you are looking for. Ski Keystone can also show you the best places to shop, activities that are going on in the Keystone area, and they also offer packages and group deals. This is a great site to visit to help you plan your vacation step by step.

I do suggest contacting a travel agent just to check prices, but searching online for a rental house is a fantastic way to compare pricing and find out more about the area. Just remember that no matter where you end up staying, you will have fabulous perks and easy access to the mountains at Keystone. So don't believe it when companies say that you won't have a good experience unless you stay in one of the Villages at Keystone or one of the prime vacation spots, because all of the areas that surround Keystone are beautiful and have certain unique aspects that no other area can offer. So do your research, find a place that has the price that's right for you, and enjoy your stay at Keystone!
