How to Rent Inflatable Slides for Parties

Alicia Bodine
Renting an inflatable slide can be joyous if you pay attention to a few details. You need to make sure that the inflatable slide you rent is in good working condition so that it fully inflates and doesn't fall apart when you go to use it. You will also want to get the best price for the inflatable slide. The inflatable slide will be portable and you can rent it for use at birthday parties, events for charity, outdoor barbecues, or any other outdoor celebration.

You will need:

Cash or a Credit Card

Follow these steps:

Step 1:
Decide where you will put the slide and measure the space. Most companies have small and large inflatable slides.

Step 2:
Visit a company in your area that rents out inflatable slides, or visit a few websites that offer this service. Look through the available slides in your size to find a design that you like.

Step 3:
Choose the company that has a good reputation, the lowest rental fee, and that also offers insurance.

Step 4:
Give the company any required deposit and schedule a day to either pick up the inflatable slide, or have it delivered and set up at your party location. If the company is local, you can pay in cash. Otherwise, you will need a credit card to reserve the inflatable slide.

Step 5:
Have the rest of the inflatable slide rental fee ready when you either pick up the slide, or when you have the slide delivered. At this time you will also want to make arrangements for returning the slide.

Step 6:
Return the inflatable slide in the condition in which you received it.

Tips:
If you are picking up the slide make sure you understand the directions before you leave. Ask for a demonstration when possible.

Understand all cancellation and rescheduling fees--including weather-related--prior to reserving your inflatable slide reservation.

Warnings:
Always follow all of the safety precautions when using the inflatable slide. Consult the Bounce Directory's safety guide in the resource section.
