How to Rent Out the Margate New Jersey Performing Arts Center for an Event

Maxwell Payne
The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Margate, N.J., is a large multipurpose facility open for both public and private events. The center has a wide range of rooms: meeting rooms, banquet halls, concert halls and reception rooms. The PAC can accommodate events from 25 to 2,500 people with catering and entertainment available through the center's event planner. Weddings, corporate meetings, concerts, presentations and parties are some of the events held at the PAC.

Contact the sales or event planner at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. For the director of event sales and planning, call 973-297-5848, or for the event planner, call 973-353-8023. To contact the planners by e-mail, respond to: rentals@njpac.org.

Provide the planner with the estimated number of guests for your meeting or event, your budget and the anticipated date of the event. Specify whether you are booking a performance, such as a concert or speaker, or a party, such as a wedding reception or business luncheon. Schedule a visit to the center to tour the available rooms.

Visit the "Virtual Tour" section of the center's website (njpac.org) to view the rooms and halls.

Tell the center's event planner which meeting room or hall you would like to book. Schedule a phone or face-to-face meeting to discuss specific needs such as furniture, staff, food and entertainment.

Contact the PAC's production team after booking an event to discuss performance or concert technical requirements. You can reach the production team by phone at 973-297-5862 or by e-mail at production@njpac.org.

Contact the PAC's catering team to organize your event's food and drink needs. You can reach catering by phone at 973-297-5871 or by e-mail at catering@TheaterSquareGrill.com.

Call or e-mail well in advance of your event date to ensure availability.

Be prepared to provide a deposit to the center once a date is reserved.

Note that prices will vary widely depending on number of guests, date, rooms reserved, staff needs, and catering costs.
